$50 | 30 minutes
During our Sports Recovery Treatment, you will spend the first part of the treatment using the Game Ready Products on one specified body part. Game Ready integrates intermittent pneumatic compression and cryotherapy to reduce pain and swelling, reduce muscle spasms, enhance lymphatic function, encourage cellular oxygen supply, and stimulate tissue repair. Following the Game Ready Treatment, you will receive Cold Laser Therapy on one specified body part. Cold Laser or Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is a treatment that utilizes specific wavelengths of light to interact with tissue and is thought to help accelerate the healing process. It can help eliminate pain, swelling, reduce spasms and increase functionality.

Dr. Anthony Cruz has always been fascinated by movement and exercise, which lead him to attain his Personal Training Certification from NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine). While he enjoyed training a few of his clients and close friends, he started to notice an increasing interest in rehabilitation and corrective exercises. This led him to volunteer at BASE Training and Physical Therapy, which eventually blossomed into a leadership role as the Lead PT Aide. His exposure as Lead PT Aide ultimately convinced him to pursue earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Touro University, Nevada. After graduating in 2021, Dr. Cruz returned to BASE PT with his experiences and education in treating various orthopedic and neuromuscular diagnoses and conditions. Dr. Cruz continues to enjoy integrating aspects of personal training into his treatment protocols, which led him to earn his certification in the Barbell Rehab Method to help his patients and clients perform squats, dead-lifts, and bench-press pain free across all levels. Dr. Cruz likes to take a holistic approach through graded exposure by incorporating the SAID Principle (Specific Adaptations to Imposed Demands) in order to prepare all his patients for any goals that they may have. In his free time, he enjoys powerlifting, surfing, snowboarding, and more recently, bouldering.
