During our Sports Recovery Treatment, you will spend the first part of the treatment using the Game Ready Products on one specified body part. Game Ready integrates intermittent pneumatic compression and cryotherapy to reduce pain and swelling, reduce muscle spasms, enhance lymphatic function, encourage cellular oxygen supply, and stimulate tissue repair. Following the Game Ready Treatment, you will receive Cold Laser Therapy on one specified body part. Cold Laser or Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is a treatment that utilizes specific wavelengths of light to interact with tissue and is thought to help accelerate the healing process. It can help eliminate pain, swelling, reduce spasms and increase functionality.
BALANCE AGILITY STRENGTH ENDURANCE
BASE Training and Physical Therapy was founded in 2014 by Dr. Sung Kim, DPT and Dr. Thomas Lin, DPT. BASE Training and Physical Therapy believes in the importance of combining Balance, Agility, Strength, and Endurance (BASE) to form a solid foundation for our patients and clients to live a healthy, active, and pain-free lifestyle.
At BASE Training and Physical Therapy, we believe in utilizing a personalized and hands-on approach when treating our patient’s pain or injury. We choose to evaluate how the body moves as a whole, rather than focusing only on the specific areas of dysfunction. We believe that this holistic approach will lead to faster recovery times, and ensure injury prevention in the future. We are proud to serve the community of San Fernando Valley and our facility is conveniently located on Ventura Boulevard in Encino, California.
"As a practicing Physician in the community, it is my honor to have been a patient at this facility. These guys are knowledgeable, professional, compassionate and most important of all.....trustworthy!"
Dr. Joel S.
"Within a few treatments the pain eased and gradually I could return to swimming, bicycling and running. In fact, I feel optimistic that due to the BASE treatment, I will be able to complete in my first race this year in about a month from now."
"I went there with a semi-serious shoulder issue and ten weeks later with twice a week therapy sessions I feel 100% better. Each interaction whether on the phone, in the therapy room or workout area every staff member was both professional and friendly."
